What you need to make 1 necklace:
Strand of 1/8” ribbon about 2” longer than finished desired length

1 closed jump ring
1 clasp
sharp scissors
hammer
2 jewelry bench blocks or other hard surfaces that won’t be damaged if struck by a hammer

Step 1:
Trim the ends of the ribbon on an angle to make them super pointy.

Step 2:
Feed one end through crimp tube.

Step 3:
Feed the same end through the jump ring and back through the crimp tube. Trim frayed end off if necessary.

Step 4:
Adjust the crimp tube by sliding it up toward the jump ring. It should look like the photo.

Step 5:
Put on the bench block making sure the jump ring is outside of the bench blocks, but the tube is sandwiched between the blocks.

Step 6:
Hammer firmly once, check to see if the crimp tube is flat and if not, hammer again.

Step 7:
On the other end of the ribbon, trim the end, feed through the tube, then feed through the loop on the clasp, then back through the tube. Measure your ribbon to the final length. Once you have the desired length, slide tube up to, but not touching, the clasp.

Step 8:
On the other end of the ribbon, trim the end, feed through the tube, then feed through the loop on the clasp, then back through the tube. Measure your ribbon to the final length. Once you have the desired length, slide tube up to, but not touching, the clasp.
